What does the cost include?
Accommodation, breakfast every morning, tea and coffee, afternoon cake, evening meal on 6 nights out of 7, wine with dinner, use of the facilities, one set of towels and linen.

What isn't included?
Transfers, ski pass, ski insurance,  lift pass, flights, travel insurance.

Are there any check in / out times?
Check out is 10 am on the morning of departure and check in is any time after 2pm, although there is always a place for you to change into your ski gear and leave your bags if you arrive early – somebody from the chalet will be there to meet you as long as you give us an idea of times.

Are there bars and shops nearer than Morzine?
In Montriond there are 2 restaurants / bars, a tabaconnist and bar, a local convenience store, ski shop, tourist office, ESF ski school office, post office and a church, these are a few minutes from the chalet.

How far are the lifts?
The shuttle bus is less than 100 yards from the end of our drive and the bus runs every 20 mins or so up to ardent, this is categorically the best lift to access the heart of les ports du soleil and the journey is about 6-8 mins on the bus.

IN the opposite direction you can take the bus to morzine (4-5 mins journey)  and from there you can access the ski area in les Gets and Nyon.

How do I find the chalet?
Once in montriond follow the signs to 'cascade ardent' or 'lac montriond' which is a turn off the main through road, go first right at the mini roundabout and 150 yards on the left is chalet montana.

The chalet is slightly set back from the road and there is a little white sign on the road, look for  the apartment block 'Les orees de morzine' on your right and chalet montana is opposite on your left.

I want to ski on my day of arrival, is this possible?
If you let us know in advance what time you are arriving our resident ski tech will be ready and waiting for you on arrival to get you fitted and out on the mountain.

I have specific dietary requirements I need catering for?
No worries; just let us know beforehand and it'll all be fine!!

I see there are dogs in the chalet , I’m allergic to them!
Our dogs sometimes go into the chalet (mostly looking for afternoon cake!!) let us know if you are allergic and they will be kept out of the chalet for the duration of your stay

I'm not skiing, what can I do?
There are plenty of things to keep you busy if you are not skiing or fancy a day off…. check out the Morzine tourist office website link for more details.
